The Mill Recognized for its Sheep Grazing Practices

We are excited to share that our sheep grazing practices have been recognized by the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP)—a voluntary, proactive program designed to help farmers and agricultural businesses identify and implement practices that protect the environment. We've been working with Tending Tilth, a sheep-grazing business, to manage our 16-acre grassland at The Mill in a more sustainable way that controls weeds and invasive plants, improves soil health and enhances water quality.
