Prairie Ronde is an artist residency and gallery rooted in place, process and transformation. Hosted by The Mill in Vicksburg, MI, the program invites artists from across the globe to engage deeply with a site undergoing one of the largest adaptive reuse projects in the region.

Developed as part of a broader vision to integrate the arts into The Mill, visiting artists live and work in Vicksburg for weeks at a time, drawing inspiration from the scale, history and ongoing rehabilitation of the former Lee paper mill. 

Since welcoming its first resident in 2018, Prairie Ronde has grown into a respected arts program, attracting national and international artists while contributing to Vicksburg’s evolving cultural landscape.
