High School Teacher Helps Aspiring Vets Learn By Doing
Dr. Noreen Heikes, Vicksburg teacher and veterinarian, was featured in Encore Magazine’s April 2020 edition about a two-week trip she and some of her students took to South Africa to learn both veterinary and life skills hands-on. Dr. Heikes has been a wonderful ally to The Mill at Vicksburg through our partnership with Vicksburg schools, and we couldn’t be more proud of her!
