The Visionary
Community Support
Pillars of Sustainability
Envision a campus–home to multiple breweries, barley malting and hops processing facilities, light manufacturing and support services for our tenants.
For nearly 100 years, the Mill defined manufacturing in Vicksburg by acting as a pillar of the community that impacted every aspect of life in the Village. Generations of families powered the Mill with their creativity and brawn. We’re celebrating that legacy by restoring the original grandeur and upgrading the buildings with cutting-edge improvements.
Fueled from top to bottom by a solid Midwestern work ethic and the desire to do whatever it would take to get the job done right, the Mill earned a reputation for making excellent, high-quality products. We share these traits and a desire to prove that we are the very best at what we do. This thinking will continue to permeate every aspect of this project.
With a clear understanding that a strong Mill meant a strong and prosperous community, everyone associated with the operation knew that a rising tide lifts every boat. We know that our efforts also stand a good chance of improving the quality of life for members of our community. If we work together, a strong Mill will work for us all.
Multi-use development plan keeps the Paper Mill’s original U-shaped buildings that formed its base. At its peak, The Mill employed 250 workers as Vicksburg’s largest employer.
