Lee Paper Mill Before & During Transformation into The Mill at Vicksburg

The Lee Paper Mill, built from 1903–1905, was a cornerstone of Vicksburg, Michigan for nearly a century. At its peak, its machines churned out 17 tons of paper daily, fueling the community's economy. However, time eventually shifted course and the mill's production ceased in 2001.

For years, the old paper mill sat dormant and on the verge of demolition until Vicksburg native Chris Moore aimed to give new life to the historic building. Renamed The Mill at Vicksburg, the Lee Paper Mill is being revitalized as a vibrant mixed-use space filled with a music, beer and events.
