The Mill Gains Statewide Acclaim for Sustainable Grazing
The Mill at Vicksburg, in partnership with woman-owned Tending Tilth, achieved statewide recognition as it received the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) verification for its sustainable grazing practices. This eco-friendly initiative has now gained recognition and become a valuable resource for the local community, including high school students and Western Michigan University's Hydrogeology Department, who have found innovative ways to utilize and appreciate the 16-acre prairie site.
